Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Do Photography Full Time?

Yes, wedding photography is my full-time job and my passion as well. I put a lot of time & effort into every wedding to create photos that couples will treasure forever. I have photographed over 220 weddings to date.

Do you take family group photos?

Yes, of course! While my focus is on documenting your day naturally, I’m always happy to take a few family group photos too. Most couples like to include some with close family and friends.

How can we book you?

Simply get in touch through the contact form on my pricing page to check availability and chat about your plans. A £350 booking fee and signed online contract will secure your date in my calendar.

When will we get our photos?

I’ll send you a preview of 10 photos within 24 hours after the wedding, so you have something to enjoy right away. The complete gallery will be delivered within three weeks.

Can we print photos ourselves?

Yes, of course! Your photos are yours to keep and print anytime. They’re available in full resolution from your private gallery, and I’ll send you my recommended suppliers for top-quality prints and albums.

How are photos delivered?

All photos are delivered through a private online gallery that never expires. You’ll get high-resolution images perfect for printing, plus smaller versions ready to share on social media.

Do you retouch all the photos?

Yes, of course. Each photo is individually retouched by hand to the same standard as the images shown on my website. I don’t use filters or AI tools – everything is done with care and attention to detail.

Are you insured?

Yes, absolutely. I’m fully insured with professional indemnity and public liability cover, and all my equipment is fully protected against accidental damage during weddings and other events.

What if your camera breaks?

It’s never happened, but I’m fully prepared. I bring four cameras and a full range of prime & zoom lenses to every wedding, and all my equipment is regularly serviced by the manufacturer.

How many photos do we get?

Every wedding is unique, but I usually deliver around 300 – 400 images. There’s no set limit – I focus on quality, storytelling, and creativity rather than simply aiming for numbers.

Do you travel for weddings?

I love travelling for weddings and cover the whole UK and Europe. I’ve photographed in Spain, Italy, and Greece. Travel costs are only added for weddings outside England.

What are your payment terms?

To reserve your date, a £250 deposit is needed. The final balance is then due 28 days before your wedding.

Do you take couple portraits?

Yes, of course. I keep the portrait session relaxed and natural — no stiff poses or forced smiles. It feels more like a short walk together than a photoshoot, and I always scout lovely spots in advance.

Do you keep backups of our photos?

Yes, of course. I keep multiple online and offline backups of every wedding I photograph. Your private gallery also stays online indefinitely, so your photos are always safe.

How many photos are black and white?

Every wedding is unique, but around 15–25% of the photos are delivered in black and white. I love colour too, but some moments simply look better and more timeless in B&W.

Do you need a meal on the day?

No, I’m happy to bring my own meal, but if food is available, it’s always appreciated – it helps me stay energised for the evening coverage.

Still have a question?

I’d love to hear from you – feel free to get in touch and tell me more about your plans.
