I’m based in Nottingham and regularly photograph weddings across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and beyond. Over the years I’ve worked at many beautiful local venues including Wollaton Hall, Swancar Farm, Hazel Gap Barn, The Pheasantry Brewery, Shottle Hall, Sutton Bonington Hall and The West Mill, as well as countryside venues throughout the Peak District. My approach is relaxed and documentary, focused on capturing people exactly as they are. I genuinely believe people look their best when they’re unaware of the camera, which is why I work calmly and unobtrusively in the background – couples often tell me they forgot I was even there. For me, weddings are about real connection, natural interaction and photographing who you truly are with the people you love most.

Hi, I am Peter

I am a wedding photographer and I genuinely love what I do. I’ve had the privilege of photographing over 220 weddings across the UK and Europe. Along the way, that’s taken me from city celebrations to destination weddings in places like Venice, Santorini, Marbella and Tuscany. My background in travel and street photography taught me to observe quietly and notice the moments you can’t stage or repeat – because people always look their best when they’re not thinking about the camera. On a wedding day, I blend in like a guest and work calmly in the background, so you can stay present, enjoy your day, and focus on what really matters. When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me with my family, exploring new places or chasing good light with a camera in hand.

Questions couples often ask

Do you travel outside nottinghamshire?

Absolutely – I photograph weddings throughout the UK and occasionally overseas. I love to travel, and distance is never an issue for the right day.

Do you take family group photos?

Yes, of course! While my focus is on documenting your day naturally, I’m always happy to take a few family group photos too. Most couples like to include some with close family and friends.

Is this your full time job?

Yes – wedding photography has been my full-time job for over 10 years, and I’ve had the privilege of photographing more than 220 weddings along the way. I still genuinely love what I do just as much as when I started, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to tell people’s stories for a living.

how do we book you?

We’ll have a quick video call to chat through your plans and how I work. If everything feels right, a £350 booking fee and a signed agreement will secure your date. The remaining balance is due 28 days before the wedding.

When will we get our photos?

I’ll send you a preview of 10 photos within 24 hours after the wedding, so you have something to enjoy right away. The complete gallery will be delivered within three weeks.
